Exceptional Plot Selection – 100% Malbec – Danish Royal Estate – Aging Potential: 15 Years
A truly great wine, and an outstanding vintage created in honor of Her Majesty Queen Margrethe of Denmark. Produced from a 1.5-hectare parcel selection of vines over 40 years old, hand-harvested and aged for 24 months in new oak barrels. A wine built for long aging.
Tasting notes from the oenologist: a rich and complex nose reveals a combination of black fruits, blackberries, and blueberries, enhanced by hints of mint. On the palate, the structure is robust yet velvety and smooth, unveiling a delicate oakiness that gradually gives way to candied fruit. A subtle harmony of power, softness, and elegance.
Tasting advice: decant at least one hour before serving to fully reveal its character. A wine with great aging potential (up to 15 years or more).
