The Royale

La Royale benefits from a terroir of excellence, part of which has been replanted in 2002. This high-density plantation (6,660 plants / ha) limits the yield per vine and thus provides grapes of better quality.

After being sorted and degraded by hand, the berries are directly put in a 15 hectoliters oak barrel made to measure, to carry out a first cold pre-fermentation maceration for 3 days.

Follow the alcoholic fermentation and a long maceration of more than 30 days, with manual punching to extract all the matter contained and soften the tannins.

This wine will finish aging and will age in new barrels for 24 months.

Featuring a black ebony dress, the wine reveals a nose of spicy and vanilla notes characterized by a great concentration in the mouth, full of power and amplitude.

La Royale, a wine of guard par excellence, offers a magnificent potential in the line of great wines. Elaborated only the years of exception.
