The
vineyard of Cayx, which is constituted of limestone
terraces extending into gravelly and alluvial soils,
enjoys an ideal southern exposure and is sheltered
from the cold northern winds. Seduced by the quality
of this diverse and exceptional terroir, the Prince Consort Henrik
of Denmark set himself to reconstitute the original
21 hectare-vineyard planted mainly with the Malbec
varietal. |
